According to the notice of Saudi Standards Bureau, from January 1, 2020, all products imported from Saudi market must display bar code on the package, which is composed of 13 digits. The bar code can be printed on the outer box, or printed as a sticker and pasted on the outer box. Saudi Arabia as one of JUNON’s big market which exported a big amount of switches and sockets, we pay much attention on this new rule!
The bar code preparation rules are determined by the factory, and can be prepared according to product model or series products, that is, different models of the same series products can share a bar code. For example, JUNON’s LJ series switches and sockets, the same series can stick a same bar code sticker is ok, no need every item with different bar code. Bar code requirements can be scanned out to 13 digits.
From January 1, 2020, the invoice of packing list provided at the time of shipment must display barcode, and the invoice must be sealed, we JUNON Switch company must need to follow this new rule and be sure we can do this otherwise will get problem in Saudi customs.
