What test do JUNON's MCB and ELCB need to go through before leaving factory?
JUNON Company products two types of MCB product, one is the miniature circuit breaker and another is the earth leakage circuit breaker. Those seems like a small product compare to our other product, what kind of test could be run through with these product.
Our MCB products must be thoroughly tested before they can be shipped. The focus is on testing in these areas:
The first one is overload test, the product should not trip within 1 hour if it is at 1.13 times of rated current, and it should be able to trip within 1 hour if it is switched to 1.45 times the rated medium current.
Then is the Short-circuit test: we connect the product with 5 times and 10 times of rated current to check the quickness of it’s on and off.
Move on to Leakage test: We verify the leakage protection performance by simulating a leakage current in the range of 15-30mA and checking whether it trips.
And more tests, The temperature rise test: The rationality of the product structure and material is examined by testing the temperature rise of its terminals and the surface of the housing.
The Anti-interference test: Check whether the leakage switch or the air switch may malfunction by simulating the interference signal in the power grid, and this is something that many manufacturers will not do.
