① : length of distribution box. The way to confirm the length of the distribution box is to add the width of all our switches together. Then there is a gap of 50 mm between the main switch and the sub switch, and a gap of 50 mm between both sides of the switch and each side of the box, which is the width of all switches plus 150 mm. For example, in our most common six circuit switch box, the width of the switch section is generally 300 mm. Then, plus the gap between the two sides, it's 400 mm. In other words, the length of the distribution box is 40 cm.
② : width of distribution box. The width of the distribution box is the distance between the top and the bottom. The main distance within the width of the distribution box is the length of the switch. For household air switches, the length is generally about 8 cm, that is 80 mm. Then we need to leave a distance of close to 10 cm at the top when installing, so that the whole is 18 cm. Then we need to leave a space of about seven or eight centimeters in the lower part. We need to install the floor panel in our distribution box in this space. If there is space on the left and right sides of the distribution box, ground bars can also be installed on the left and right sides.
③ : depth of distribution box. The depth of the distribution box is generally confirmed by the switch. The overall depth of common household distribution box is within 10 cm. For example, the depth of the most commonly used distribution box at this stage is mostly 9 cm. Therefore, we generally do not need to consider the depth of the distribution box. When we buy, we usually make the distribution box according to the requirements, so we can install the switch directly after we buy it.
Selection suggestions: ① when we choose the indoor switch, I personally suggest that we first confirm the length, width and height of our original distribution box. For example, the most common 42cm × 25cm × 9cm distribution box can basically install 6 ~ 7 circuits. ② When we choose indoor air switch or leakage protection switch, the personal choice suggestions are as follows. For the main switch, we choose 2p air switch; for the lighting circuit, we also choose 2p air switch; for all other sockets, we suggest you choose 1p + n leakage protection switch.
